We are excited to welcome you to our church family. Oliver's Grove is a warm, friendly, multi-generational and active church in Four Oaks, NC filled with loving, welcoming, and mission-minded people.

COVID-19 RESPONSE

The membership of Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church has approved the following approach for church gatherings as related to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  In showing love to all, we encourage the wearing of masks; ask respect for social distancing; and have made available hand sanitizers throughout the church.  It is our desire to welcome all who seek to worship God corporately, whether a mask wearer or not.  We seek to fulfill the lesson of Romans 14: ‘Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.’  Our appeal to all is this: as a precaution, if you are feeling ill (experiencing fever, cough, or difficulty breathing) avoid church gatherings.

We exist to connect people to Jesus and each other.
Baptists are a people who profess a living faith. This faith is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ who is “the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.” Therefore, the sole authority for faith and practice among Baptists is Jesus Christ whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures.

OUR HISTORY

In 1880 Messrs. Haywood Johnson and Ruffus Oliver, along with a small group of Christians, formed Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church to share the good news of God reconciling man to Himself. The history of Oliver’s Grove is rich in church planting, with the “Church on the Hill” being instrumental in organizing various other local Baptist churches.

We offer a Christ-centered, worshipful Sunday service at 11:00am each week, that is filled with prayer, worshipful music, fellowship, and Bible-based teaching. We invite the 3-in-1 God to receive the honor, glory, and praise that He is due. Throughout the week, there are opportunities for you to serve, learn, or grow in both church community and the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
