Pastor David Brantley has been at Oliver’s Grove since 2019. After a 31 year career in Information Technology, David returned to Campbell University to receive a Master’s of Divinity and follow God’s call into The Gospel Ministry. He was ordained September, 15, 2019. Oliver’s Grove is his first pastorate.
David is a native of Chester, South Carolina but grew up in Pasadena California. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and the Campbell Divinity School. Prior to Oliver’s Grove, he served as the interim Pastor at Enfield Baptist Church in Enfield, North Carolina.
Baptists are a people who profess a living faith. This faith is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ who is “the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.” Therefore, the sole authority for faith and practice among Baptists is Jesus Christ whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
